Abu Afif Olive Oil Visitor Center invites you to a genuine experience of olive oil tasting, including the opportunity to learn about the traditional olive oil production process that has been passed down in the Afif family from father to son, a visit to the shop, and a meeting with a Druze family for whom olive oil is their second name.

The modern visitor center is a direct continuation of the family’s first oil mill, built by Abu Afif in 1952, when it was a traditional olive mill. Although the original wheels were not driven by donkeys, since Hurfeish was not yet connected to the power grid, the wheels were powered by a generator. Today, the oil mill has three modern production lines, and the oil mill and visitor center are run by Lutfi, Abu Afif’s son.
